The official trailer for the upcoming Netflix true crime series about Elisa Lam is out, and it’s creepy. Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel, isn’t just focusing on Lam’s case, but at the hotel in large, which has become the infamous toponym that housed serial killer Richard Ramirez, countless suicides and the Black Dahlia murder.

The streaming platform is going deep on an unsolved murder mystery: the 2013 disappearance of Elisa Lam, a Canadian tourist who vanished one night, only to be found dead in one of the hotel’s water tanks.

The true crime docuseries will premiere on Netflix in just a few weeks on 10 February. Watch the official trailer down below in the meantime.
